Join Betty & Emily at their home in Portugal for five days of devotion, ceremony, prayer and play. Sleep on the earth, bathe to the sound of birdsong, move your body to the backdrop of the mountains and breathe as the breeze sings through the eucalyptus trees. The land at Casa Da Mae - 'House of the Mother' - has already taught us so much. Time after time it has brought us both home to ourselves, reminding us of the beauty of life. And this is our first retreat in sharing all that we receive here daily in an offering to those who feel called to join. Picture this: Waking up in nature after a long rest Meditating to bird song Surrendering into space for silence and finding a slow flow Wandering into the woods Working with the local flora & fauna to create tinctures to take home Feasting together to create sensory experiences, using beautiful and nourishing seasonal ingredients, home-cooked by our guest chef. Daily practices of movement, breathwork, dance and song Space for creativity and self expression, inspired by our beautiful surroundings Walking down to the river to swim Sharing you heart in circle with your sisters Five days of ceremony and ritual, working with each of the elements: Air - playfulness, creativity, breathing into our body’s wisdom Fire - passion and ignition, our burning desires, expressing all parts of ourselves Water - Cleansing, welcoming our emotions and fluidity Earth - Connecting with nature and the land that is holding us, grounding us, supporting us and bringing balance, rest and restoration Join us for a celebration of abundance and gratitude for the limitless nourishing Mother Earth provides and all that she holds and offers us, as we come together as a circle of women, witnessing each other in our authenticity. £750 per person including the full programme of events guided by Emily & Betty, all food, accommodation in a beautiful bell tent between the vines, outdoor bathroom with a view of the mountains and the forest. Central Portugal - closest airport is Porto, closest main city is Coimbra FAQs: Travel: Porto is our closest airport, with a super low cost and comfortable Flix bus from just outside the airport to Coimbra, our closest city. We can help you arrange a transfer from here. Arrival and departure times: Arrival from 3pm on Thursday 12th June, with our opening ceremony at 5pm, followed by a welcome dinner. We will close the space with a final brunch on Monday 16th.
