"What to say about the retreat with Emily and Maxi, words will not do it justice, you have to experience it for yourself. I arrived as a stranger and left with 10 intimate friends. It was everything my nervous system and my heart needed. And more."
On arrival, I had to hand my phone and watch in. Having no concept of time allowed me to be so present, like I had not been since I was a little girl. One of the strongest memories of the weekend was Emily and Maxi singing to us in the morning to wake us up. It was beautiful, I would just lay there in my sleeping bag, wanting it to last all day, and then I had the most beautiful song in my head all day too.
They cooked the most beautiful food for us, and the space was simple but wholesome. I loved the hiking and the wild camping on the Tor was a once-in-a-lifetime experience (except I am going again next year (lol)).

The sunrise at 4am was not of this Planet. Silent, cool air on my puffy morning eyes, and the tones of pink to orange in the sky.
"We did yoga and sharing circles. I have never felt more held and free to be the woman I was born to be, than with Emily and Maxi."
We laughed and played and were silly too. Too many lol's, my cheeks hurt. Thank you both for being such special people and coming into my life. I think about you often and am so looking forward to next year already (and all the meets in between).
