About the event

When?

Sunday 15th - Wednesday 18th September 2024

We begin at midday on the Sunday with time to land, a welcome lunch and opening ceremony

We’ll end on Wednesday, after lunch and our closing ceremony (around 2pm)

Where?

Our own private woodland and land on a re-wilding project on Dartmoor

The land and project is called Moor Barton, in the heart of the moors.

I was lucky enough to be there last September and it’s really quite a magical place.

What?

4 days, 3 nights of off grid, back to our wild nature living and roaming in the forests, fields and moors.

A chance for a complete digital detox and off-grid living fuelled on nature, sunlight, stars, very good food and wild women.

Accommodation

Tents or campervans (bring your own)

There will be the possibility to borrow a tent if you need.

You’ll also need to bring your own bedding

I’ll be sending out a full kit list and itinerary closer to the time

An idea of what we’ll be getting up to….

We’ll start our day with morning movement under the beech trees (think yoga meets tai chi meets primal, playful movements), meditation and breathwork before a hearty, wholesome, seasonal breakfast served around the fire with tea and coffee.

From here we’ll set off for a day out in the wild, a combination of gentle hikes (more rambling and roaming than epic distances), foraging, and helping to maintain the land and learning about re-wilding (including visiting the beavers and seeing their hard work)!.

Lunch will either be out in the wild or under the Beech trees back at camp. We’ll end our days with a wood fired sauna, a swim in the stream and dinner, games, songs, writing, making tinctures and telling stories round the fire with a delicious home cooked dinner under the stars.

Each day will vary and will also include a full days foraging with a dear friend and foraging expert of mine, Sylvia. (You will love her).

Price

£525 early bird price if you book before 1st June, £595 from 1st June.

To confirm your place I’m asking for a 30% deposit with full payment due by 1st August.

Please speak to me about payment plans and how you’d like to spread the cost, I’m here to make this as easy and accessible for you as I can.
